Exactly what I thought it would be.
Which body you wake up in each day depends on a game of cards played by every guardian angel. Were the game played by humans, the order of the winners would change round to round, because humans have free will and no human is better than another. Angels however have no free will, and their individual closenessess to god exist in a strict heirarchy. No two angels are equally close to god, so no two angels will ever draw, and all humans wake up as themselves every morning.
